Mouthpiece

Mouthpiece - a performance for six mouths - is a contemporary dance and music piece for three wind instrumentalists, two choreographer-dancers and a composer. Since the spring 2018, the working group has explored different forms of communication of the mouth and social constructions associated with it, while studying the boundary between the public and the private mouth. The group is interested in oral movements and fluids, and the fears and pleasures associated with them. In Mouthpiece the six mouths and their fluids are both the performers and means for the work.
